Clinic Re-opening and Modified Procedures Information

Hello everyone,

I'm happy to let you all know that I will be re-opening the clinic - with some modifications - on Tuesday April 28th. I can't tell you how much I missed the clinic and how much I'm looking forward to seeing you all! With HCA being a shared, community space, I want to have full transparency and let you know what I'm doing to keep the clinic a safe space for healing. 

First of all, I've reduced the number of appointments I will be seeing each hour to allow adequate social distancing in the clinic. Prior to closing the clinic, up to 6 people were able to book per hour, now I've capped that at 3 (all appointments are changed to 20 minute increments). This means that there should only be 2-3 people getting treatments at a time allowing for more than enough spacing between people in the treatment room. If at all possible, I'm asking that people schedule their appointments in advance as I will have less availability for walk ins. 

For the time being, I will be wearing a mask during all patient interactions and I'm requiring anyone in the clinic to also wear a mask the whole time they are in the clinic. This requirement is based on the current CDC recommendations to reduce the risk of an asymptomatic person spreading the virus. Please bring and wear your own mask from home - If you come to the clinic without a mask, I will have a small supply of masks available to purchase. I am also requiring the use of hand sanitizer for every person entering the clinic and encourage frequent hand washing. 

I am continuing to ask that anyone experiencing any respiratory symptoms or fever in the past 72 hours and those who have been in close contact with anyone experiencing these symptoms not come in for treatment at this time. This includes: any person with pending results or confirmed COVID-19, contact with someone tested/confirmed for COVID-19, fever above 100.4 F, cough, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath. There will be no cancellation fees but I continue to ask for as much notice possible for cancellation of a scheduled appointment. 

I will be laundering all chair coverings between each patient and ask if you would like a blanket during your treatment that you bring your own, clean blanket from home to help cut down on the clinic laundry. As always, I will continue to clean and disinfect surfaces in the clinic frequently and wash my hands thoroughly between each patient. 

I'm now accepting online payments at the time of scheduling. This will reduce the need to exchange cash and touch credit cards and other items in the clinic.
